A proprietary club owned by Island Golf Properties Berhad, the Bukit Jambul Country Club (BJCC) was incorporated in 1984. What was once a 130-acre hilly rugged and rocky jungle, BJCC has established itself as one of Malaysia's top golf clubs. Since its opening in 1984, numerous extensions and renovations have enabled BJCC to be the preferred golfing avenue, such as being the host of the 31st Malaysian Open in 1992 which was won by Vijay Singh. Situated on a hilltop, BJCC provides a stunning panaromic view of the island, overseeing the impressive 13km Penang Bridge. Its stunning 18 hole 5,763 meter, par 72 golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Probably the most famous is the 10th hole with its tee box perched 100 feet above the fairway on the valley floor. Acclaimed as the no.6 top golf course in the recent Golf Malaysia Golf Course Poll (2001/2002), BJCC has been the crossroads for many world renowned golfers, documenting great moments in golfing history.

The Clubhouse is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily.
Please take note that visitors are allowed to play at the following time:-
Weekdays: 8.00am onwards
Weekends & Public Holidays: 10.30 am to 1.00pm, 2.30pm onwards

First Nine or Second Nine will be closed for Maintenance purpose on every MONDAY alternately.

. Payment can be made by CASH or CREDIT CARD upon registration.
. The reservation is open from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm everyday including Sundays & Public Holidays.

Local Rules
1. Dress Code - T-shirt with collars and sleeves for both Men's & Ladies. Proper golfing shoes (Soft Spike Shoe).
2. No sharing of golf sets are allowed.
3. Caddies, Buggy (Golf Car) & Insurance is COMPULSORY

Please take note that NO WALKABOUTS or FOLLOWERS allowed on the course and soft spike golfing shoe MUST be worn when playing on the course. Minimum three (3) paxs on WEEKEND & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.
Bukit Jambul Country Club will confirm the tee off-time / availability of golf arrangement with our reservation department, fourteen (14) days in advance of the date of booking.

Visitors are advised to book in advance for approximate tee-off times. A sum of RM105 per flight time will be imposed for bookings made by travel agencies and hotels. This amount would not be charged if the flight time is used by the guest of the said agencies. Cancellation of bookings are accepted up to 24 hours prior to their respective starting times. The Club reserves the right to cancel any bookings made without having to assign any reason whatsoever. The agency or hotel introducing guest shall be held responsible for their misconduct or damages to Club's properties. We will require the dates, names and number of golfers in order to confirm booking upon availability. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details.

Facilities: Tennis Court, Squash Court, Swimming Pool, Gym, Snooker, Dance Room, Karaoke, Mens & Ladies Changing Room, Pooldeck Restaurant, Golfers Terrace, Pro Shop, Driving Range, Library, Banquet Hall, Meeting & Conference Room.

The nearest hotel at Bukit Jambul Golf Club is Equatorial Hotel and Vistana Hotel, Penang.

F & B: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner can be arranged as per requirement.
