So far this very special occasion, let us take a stroll down memory lane as we reflect on the major changes and events that have taken place in the club for the past 20 years.
1984
BJCC golf course opened for play with only 378 registered members. Dato' Chet Singh became its first Golf Captain and the late Dato' Sam Ah Chow as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Island Golf Properties.
1985
BJCC leased its 130-acre land from Penang Development Corporation.
1986
Governor of Penang Tun Dr. Awang Hassan performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the clubhouse and swimming pool. Construction works began on both facilities. Tuan Hj. Nasir Zain won the 1st BJCC Club Championship with Lim Heng Wee winning the nett event.
